The Northview Essentials Plan Membership Policy
Joining our exclusive membership plans offers a convenient and affordable prepayment option for your routine dental care needs. It encourages regular attendance throughout the year, reducing your risk of dental disease and enables us to spot developing issues early on. As a plan member, you will receive a set number of examinations and hygiene visits per year, according to your dental care needs. Your entitlement to this service begins once you have made a set number of monthly
payments into the plan.
Example
– Your clinician recommends 2 examinations and 2 hygiene visits per year
– You will be eligible to book your first examination covered by the plan after you have made 6 regular monthly payments towards your membership
The primary difference between the different plans lies mainly in the number/frequency of hygiene visits included. Our clinicians will help you determine the ideal plan that aligns with your oral hygiene goals, ensuring regular check-ups and cleanings to maintain optimal dental health. However, we understand that preferences may change over time, and you are able to switch plans if you wish, although this could mean you will not receive the plan best suited to your needs.
FROM THE MOMENT YOU JOIN
In addition to the structured payment system for routine examinations and hygiene visits, you will also be entitled to other immediate benefits, including:
– saving money compared to paying for routine visits on a pay as you go basis
– exclusive discount on the majority of dental treatments*
– discount on emergency dental treatment fees and eligible to request assistance from the Worldwide Dental Emergency Assistance Scheme, covering you for emergency dental treatment when you are away from home
* The following treatments are excluded from membership discount: Any cosmetic treatment, including orthodontics, composite bonding and facial aesthetics, and referrals to specialists.
CANCELLING SCHEDULED APPOINTMENTS
We require 2 full working days’ notice to cancel any scheduled examination or hygiene appointments. Appointments cancelled with less than 2 working days’ notice will be classed as a failed appointment and count towards your annual appointment entitlement. Additional appointments will need to be paid for at the standard pay as you go fee, or you can choose to wait for your next scheduled appointment
CANCELLING YOUR MEMBERSHIP
We understand that people’s circumstances can change. Therefore, you have the option to cancel your membership at any time. However, please note that if you have received discounted dental treatment and decide to cancel within 12 months following completion of that treatment, the discount equivalent will be owed to the practice. Any routine check-up/hygiene appointments booked following cancellation of the plan will be payable at the normal (non-discounted) rate. If we fail to receive the necessary payment prior to an appointment, the appointment will be cancelled. This policy helps maintain fairness and ensures that the benefits and discounts provided by the plan are utilised appropriately.
